Grace3 Technologies is proud to announce the successful launch of its educational initiative on the international stage! In a powerful partnership with the Embassy of Colombia, Grace3 recently traveled to Quibdó, Colombia, to deliver its signature Soar Seminary program—a hands-on, in-school-time drone aviation and robotics education curriculum for middle and high school students.
This mission represented a key step in Grace3’s commitment to expanding educational equity and technology access across borders.
A Focus on Future Leaders in Quibdó
Quibdó, the capital of the Chocó Department, is a region rich in culture, where the population is overwhelmingly Afro-Colombian. Despite its vibrant heritage, the region has historically faced challenges in accessing cutting-edge educational resources.
The goal of this international Soar Seminary was to help bridge that digital and technological gap, offering high-value skills and inspiration directly to students who may otherwise lack exposure to the rapidly growing fields of drone aviation and robotics.
Grace3 visited numerous schools and robotics programs, ensuring maximum impact across the community.
- Hands-On Flight Time: The core of the program gave students direct control over training drones. This hands-on experience demystifies the technology and builds practical skills.
- Career Exposure: Experts guided students through the diverse career paths available in the drone economy—from commercial photography and agriculture surveying to public safety and engineering.
- Empowerment through Technology: The program was designed to show students that they not only have the ability to use these technologies but can become the next generation of innovators and leaders in their community and beyond.
Building an International Bridge
The success of this trip was made possible by the invaluable collaboration with the Embassy of Colombia. Their support was instrumental in coordinating with local schools and ensuring the program resonated deeply within the Quibdó community.
This partnership underscores a shared vision: that investing in technology education is investing in economic growth and social empowerment. By exposing these talented young people to high-tech career fields, Grace3 is helping them visualize—and then build—a path toward a brighter future.
The excitement and enthusiasm from the Quibdó students were palpable. They proved that talent and curiosity know no borders, and they are ready to soar into the global digital economy.
