We are thrilled to announce that John Henry, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Grace3 Technologies, has been honored as a WHYY Good Souls Honoree!
This prestigious recognition from WHYY, Greater Philadelphia’s public media station, celebrates individuals who make significant, positive contributions to their community through their time, action, and dedication. John was recognized specifically for his leadership in working to diversify the tech field and create pipelines of opportunity for the next generation.
While Grace3 Technologies is known for providing cutting-edge, mission-critical communications and robotics to public safety agencies, our core purpose extends far beyond technology sales. This award validates the foundational belief that guides the company's work: technology access is a tool for equity and empowerment.
The recognition highlights the impact of Grace3's community initiatives, most notably the Soar Summit (formerly the Teen Tech Summit), which exposes hundreds of Philadelphia public middle and high school students to hands-on experience with drones, robotics, and other advanced technologies every year.
John's commitment is simple: to inspire young people, particularly those from underrepresented communities, to see a future for themselves in the high-growth, high-tech industry.
"My job is to make the world a better place, and I truly believe that the higher purpose is to be a vessel, to share my experiences with the next generations," says John Henry.
We congratulate John on this well-deserved honor and look forward to continuing the work of creating possibilities for Philadelphia's future leaders!
